Lana Dee Wesche

July 10, 1940 — February 17, 2024

Lana Dee Wesche passed peacefully on Saturday, February 17th, 2024.

She was born Lana Dee Tolman on July 10th, 1940, in Bell CA, the only daughter of her loving parents, Harold and Pearl Tolman. Not long after, the family moved to a homestead ranch home built by her dad in Carey Id. In Carey she built life -long friendships, learned the importance of a good work ethic, was taught to cook, sew, and play the most beautiful music on the piano.  She graduated as the salutatorian of her class.  She moved to Salt Lake City after graduation to follow her desire to become a nurse and earned her RN degree at Holy Cross.

The summer before her Senior year of High school was spent as a nanny in Hawaii for her Aunt and Uncle who were stationed in the military on the island.  It was there she met her eternal companion Harry who was also stationed on the island at that time, though they did not date right away. Harry pursued and won her heart.  They were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on August 18, 1961.

Lana is mother to five sons.   Along with her dedication to her husband, these boys were her major focus in her life.  She devoted herself to raising them in an environment of love and compassion. Her growing posterity continued to be a source of joy her entire life.

Harry took Lana all over the world. As a military wife, she moved with him sometimes as much as every year with her sons.  They also visited the world in their retirement, using cruises to see Europe, the South Seas and many other beautiful locations.

Lana was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has an eternal Testimony of her Savior.

Lana is survived by her husband Harry, her sons; Scott (Tresa), Todd (Janalee), Rick (Jessica), Mike (Celeste), and Lance (Shantel). Also, including spouses, 41 grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter-in-law, Jackie.
