L Stanley Bell

April 25, 1941 — November 15, 2021

L Stanley Bell born April 25th, 1941 passed away peacefully at his home on November 15th, 2021.

Stan was born in Mackay, Idaho to Floyd and Leone Bell, and was the third of five children. He attended school in Malta, Idaho and graduated from Raft River High. After high school he spent two years at Rick’s College where he played football before transferring to BYU. He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for 30+ years, primarily in flight simulation and the defense industry. Ever the entrepreneur, he finished his career as a business owner. Retirement brought time to substitute teach, do family history, serve in the Bountiful Temple, and volunteer at Lakeview Hospital.

Diagnosed in 2015 with Parkinson’s, and later with Alzheimer’s, life began to change. More time was spent at home enjoying lots of game shows, football, and family visits from the comfort of his favorite chair.

Stan is preceded in death by his parents, older brother Delbert, and younger brother Wayne Dee. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Vicki, two sisters Irene and LaNel, 8 children and their spouses, 26 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Farmington Crossing Chapel located at 980 North Shepard Church Drive in Farmington, with a viewing prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Interment will follow at Farmington City Cemetery, 500 South 200 East Farmington.

Services may also be viewed live at the following link:  https://www.facebook.com/russonmortuary/videos/?ref=page_internal
