Kenneth "Ken" Rueckert

Kenneth “Ken” Rueckert, 72, of West Haven, Utah, passed away on July 27, 2026.

Ken was born on February 5, 1954, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Throughout his life, he built a reputation for excellence, integrity, and hard work as a skilled finish carpenter and general contractor. His craftsmanship was evident in every project he completed, and he took great pride in doing things the right way.

Beyond his work, Ken had a deep love for music. He especially enjoyed listening to and playing bluegrass on his guitar, finding joy in the timeless melodies and friendships that music brought. He also loved working on classic cars, always appreciating the beauty of restoring something with patience and care.

Ken embraced life with enthusiasm and encouraged others to do the same. One of the greatest lessons he left his family was to live life fully today, to appreciate each day, pursue what you love, and never take time with those you love for granted. His positive outlook, generous spirit, and love for life will remain with those who knew him.

Ken is survived by his wife, Corinna Rueckert, and his children, Becky Sparks (David), Angie Paystrup (Robert), Erik Rueckert (Megan), Justin Rueckert (Tara), eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Hooper Cemetery, 5290 S. 6300 W., Hooper, Utah 84315.

Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate Ken’s life. Those wishing to send flowers may have them delivered on Wednesday, August 5, to Russon Mortuary, 1585 W. 300 S., Syracuse, Utah.

Ken’s hands built many things throughout his life, but his greatest legacy is the love he shared, the example he set, and the reminder he leaves with all of us: live life fully today. He will be deeply loved, greatly missed, and forever remembered.
