Kenneth Orson Hill

Kenneth Orson Hill passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, in Murray, Utah, surrounded by love and the echo of a legacy built on kindness, goodwill, and devotion. Born on June 29, 1935, in Ogden, Utah, Kenneth lived a full and generous life defined by service, family, and unwavering integrity.

A devoted husband to Loretta Stokes Hill, their love story spanned 68 years of loyalty, faithfulness, and adoring care. It could be said that Loretta was his heartbeat. As a brother, he was supportive and caring; as a father and grandfather, he was fun, kind, cheerful, wise, and deeply protective—always present, always proud. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will forever carry forward his strength, generous spirit, and his love of adventure.

Children: Shelly Ann Wright Sieb (George), Spencer K. Hill (Louise), and Jodi Lynn Hill Strong (Rick). Grandchildren: Skylar Kenneth Wright (Lindsay), Caroline Louise Hill (Ian Gordon), Virginia Hill Anderson (Egan), James Albert Strong (McKenna), David Spencer Hill, Catherine Anne Hill, and Olivia Loretta Strong. Great-grandchildren: Hope Kelsey Wright Nelson (Kyeler), Sally Jo Wright, Hazel Lindsay Wright, Amelia Kate Strong, Alice May Anderson, and Etta Grace Strong.

Kenneth was a pillar in both his community and church, recognized as an accomplished leader in public relations, government, charitable organizations, and the arts. He also served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. All who were blessed to know Ken will attest to his strong will, fairness, and grit. His enduring commitment to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints reflected a lifetime of quiet faith and devoted service. With his big helping hands and his fierce hugs, Ken was always a safe place for friends, neighbors and even strangers to seek advice and support in times of joy and trial.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful, Utah, and again Saturday morning, July 19, 2025, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral at the Bountiful Heights Stake Center, 33 S. Moss Hill Drive in Bountiful. Funeral services will be held at the same location on Saturday from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., followed by interment at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
