Kathryn Prims

Kathy passed away quietly in her home on January 6, 2026 at the age of 81 years. Kathy was born on October 21, 1944 and was the first of 4 siblings born to Carl White and Thelma Squire. Kathy lived her whole life in the same home in Farmington. During her school years, Kathy discovered a love of sewing and won awards for clothes that she designed and made. She graduated from Davis High school in 1962. Kathy met and married Ken Prims in 1965 and they later divorced . They made their home in Farmington also, eventually building a home next door to her parents. Kathy spent 20+ years with Mervyns where she made great friends and spent a lot of her time moving into a management position with the company. Kathy loved her family and lived her life quietly.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Kevin and great-grandson Knox. Kathy leaves behind her siblings Linda (Tim) Mitchell, Carol (Ken) Hacking, and Ron (Tami) White and her 3 living children, Wendy McBride, Kristi (Charles) Conklin, and Jeff Prims. She was a wonderful Grandma to 11 and Great Grandma to 8. She leaves behind a legacy who will miss her and never forget her.

In honoring Kathy’s wishes, there will be no services.
