Karl Roberts Asay, beloved husband, father and grandfather left this life peacefully at home on October 6, 2023. Karl was born on December 4, 1935 in Price, Utah to Basil and Ruth Asay.
Karl enjoyed a childhood growing up with many cousins and family members. He loved to share stories of these happy times.
Karl proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean war. Upon his return from the navy he stopped in an ice cream shop for a cool treat and met his future beautiful wife, Karen Adele Greco. They married in 1957 and had four children; Kevin (deceased), Karlene, Deanne and Brad.
Karl loved anything related to the great outdoors. Farming, camping, fishing and hunting were his favorite activities. He instilled this same sense of appreciation for nature in his children who have fond memories of camping and fishing as a family. He had an amazing mind and passion for learning, inventing, and creating. He was always in the middle of creating some project whether for utility purposes or beautiful art.
Karl is survived by his wife of 66 years, Karen Adele Greco Asay, daughters Karlene Dolbear (Tracy), Deanne Taylor (Mike), son Brad (Tanya), nine grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Aspire Home Health & Hospice for their loving care of Karl and our family.
