Beloved friend, daughter, mother, and grandmother, June Swaner Johnson, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on October 23rd, 2025 at the age of 81. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on June 1st, 1944 to Francis Carl Swaner and Edna Swaner (Savage). She has one older sister, Jeannine Horne of Kaysville, and one younger brother Laddie Swaner (deceased) and is a descendant of Utah and Idaho Pioneers.
June spent her early years living on the grounds of the Lagoon Amusement Park in Farmington, where her father Carl, an esteemed artist, was the head gardener. She inherited her father’s artistic nature and talent for gardening. She enjoyed swimming, exploring, and playing on the park grounds, including the salvage yard. June graduated with honors from Davis High School in 1964, and enjoyed being in Pro Schola and Pep Club. She graduated from the Bountiful College of Beauty in 1965 and became a successful beautician.
She married John Randolph-Seng in 1976. After John’s untimely death, she successfully balanced being a single mother, working full-time, and earning her bachelor’s degree from Weber State University in 1994.
June was a dedicated and affectionate mother. She loved to celebrate birthdays and other events together. Even as a single mother, she always made sure to take her children on at least one family trip a year and she gave her children many wonderful memories.
She married the love of her life and eternal companion, K. Keith Johnson, in 1996. Until his passing, they enjoyed traveling together, antiquing, hiking, and being with extended family. June often talked fondly of the sixteen years they had together, with a highlight being a trip they took to Machu Picchu in Peru.
June was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings. She was a lover of flowers and the outdoors, and could often be found tending to her garden.
June is survived by her older sister and best friend, Jeannine Horne (Marvin), many beloved nieces and nephews, and by her three children: Amber Brown, Brandon Randolph-Seng (Carrie), and Chad Randolph-Seng (Stephanie) and seven precious grandchildren: William, Luke, Owen, Pete, Koa, Stella, and Tommy.
