Julia Lynne Forsberg Mueller

November 5, 1942 — December 7, 2021

Julia Lynne Forsberg Mueller left this earthy world in the early hours of December 7th from complications of liver cancer. She was born to her delighted parents, Norma Shurtliff and John Forsberg on November 5th, 1942. She was the oldest child in her family and her siblings have always looked up to her. She married Juergen Mueller on November 20th, 1964. They were blessed with 3 children, Heidi, John, and Megan. The love of her life Juergen, and their children and grandchildren were a delight to her and she spent much of her time loving, planning for, visiting, and caring for them. She was the best grandma! She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and spent her life serving in many callings and capacities. She had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and was a wonderful example of true charity and kindness. Her priorities were God and family. She was an extremely talented artist – a gift inherited from her mother and father and also the result of many hours of experimentation and practice. She created works of art in almost every style you can imagine and was an avid photographer who once had her own darkroom. Her family has many of her works that are now especially treasured. She worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist, and once started a business with her sister called Sidetracked Home Executives. She was always learning and trying something new. She was always on the cutting edge of technology, and even wrote her own programs on an Apple computer back in the early 1980’s. To her family she was also comforter, counselor, teacher, nurse, and a true inspiration. She loved spending time with her sisters. Also, for many years she enjoyed her monthly get-togethers with some of her friends in the neighborhood.

A special thank you to all those who supported her and her family during her cancer care.

She is survived by her husband Juergen Mueller; daughters Heidi Rosenberg (Craig) and Megan Muhlestein (David); son John Mueller (Andrea); mother-in-law Erna Vogel; daughter-in-law Kathy Mueller; and grandchildren Dylan and Austin Mueller, Mason and Kirsten Rosenberg, and Harry, Wyatt, Calvin, Titus and Naomi Muhlestein, as well as her sisters Laura, Mary and Jayne, and her lifelong friend Pat Achter. We are sure she is enjoying a wonderful reunion with her parents, sisters, brother, and other departed family and friends.

Her funeral will be held Friday, December 10th, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the chapel located at 1450 S. 350 W., Bountiful, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
