Judith Mann

March 24, 1951 — September 10, 2025

Farmington

Judith “Judy” Kershaw Mann passed away peacefully at her home in Farmington, Utah, on September 10, 2025. She was born on March 24, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Chauncey Kershaw and Mattie Virginia Wood Kershaw.

Judy married the love of her life, Brian T. Mann, and together they shared nearly 50 wonderful years of marriage. They built a loving home in Bountiful, Utah, and later moved to Farmington, where they continued to raise their family and make cherished memories.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brian; her parents, Chauncey and Virginia Kershaw; and her sister, Susan Dal Paiz.

She is survived by her children: Arin (Scott), Jamie (James), and Brian (Tara); Nine grandchildren: Savannah, Ella, Gillian, Jayden, Jordan, Spencer, Daxton, Kruz, and Brock; and her brother, Daniel (Vickie).

Judy graduated from Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa, California, and attended Ricks College before proudly earning her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University.

She served faithfully in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A life of service, faith, and love defined her.

Throughout her life, Judy held many job roles including receptionist at Lakeview Hospital and billing administrator for the South Davis Fire Department. But her greatest passion was in the travel industry. She began her travel career with Eastern Airlines as a reservation agent and trainer, later working for Continental Airlines and as a corporate travel coordinator for Novell. Her final and favorite role was as a travel agent at Columbus Travel, where she found joy in helping others make their travel dreams come true.

Her work took her around the world, allowing her to learn from other cultures and connect with people in meaningful ways. Travel was more than a job to her—it was a way to explore, to grow, and to bring joy to others.

Judy had a lifelong appreciation for music, theater, and sports — interests she shared with her children and grandchildren. She was a regular presence at softball and baseball games, soccer matches, basketball games, Taekwondo tournaments, and horseback riding events, as well as concerts, plays, and recitals. Whether in the stands or on the sidelines, she showed up — always supportive, always paying attention. She had a sharp eye and wasn’t afraid to offer a few coaching tips or loving encouragement afterward. She expected effort, paid attention to the details, and made sure her family knew she was there.

Judy was strong-willed, determined, kind, and endlessly loving. She touched countless lives through her friendship, her independence, and her unwavering example of love and perseverance. She was a woman who could do anything she put her mind to. The world is a better place because she was in it.

She will be deeply missed.
