Joyce Catmull Blosch

Joyce Catmull Blosch was born on May 30, 1933, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and passed away on December 16, 2025. She was the daughter of Melvin Dean Catmull and Vera Harman Dunlop Catmull. She was married and sealed to Raymond Karl Blosch in the Salt Lake Temple on September 4, 1953.

Raymond and Joyce were devoted to each other until Raymond’s untimely death in 1987. Joyce was a loving and devoted mother of four children: Kirk Blosch, Ronald Blosch, Neil Blosch, and Mark Blosch, all of whom reside in Salt Lake City.

Joyce attended Onequa Elementary School, Jackson Junior High School, and West High School. She was very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many church callings throughout her life.

She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching University of Utah football, and traveling.

Joyce is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren:

Kirk and Kelly Blosch: children Jillian, Taylor (husband Timothy), and Lauren (husband Brian); grandchildren Harper and Margot

Ronald Blosch

Neil and Debbi Blosch: son Jake

Mark Blosch: children Sydney, Serina, Payton, and Parker; grandchild Salem

A viewing will be held from 12:00-12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Utah Food Bank.
