Jodi Lynn Clark Ovitt

Jodi was born on July 14, 1983 in Decatur, Illinois and died April 2, 2026 in Farmington, Utah.

As a child, Jodi was full of life and loved making friends and family smile and laugh. Her favorite thing was to entertain others whether dancing or singing. Jodi graduated from Viewmont High School in 2001 and then Fran Brown College of Beauty shortly after. She loved all things beauty including hair, nails, and makeup.

Jodi was blessed with the arrival of her little boy, Kash, on May 21, 2008 from a previous marriage. Jodi’s greatest joy in life was being a mother. She married her sweetheart, Richard Ovitt, on September 23, 2011 and gained three beautiful children: Emi, Hailey, and Chloe.

Jodi had a soft heart and mourned with those that mourned and comforted those who needed comfort. She just wanted everyone to feel accepted and loved.

Jodi was preceded in death by her father, Charles Clark, and both sets of grandparents. She is survived by her husband, Richard Ovitt, her children, Kash, Emi, Hailey, and Chloe, her mother, Laralynn Clark, and her siblings, Julie Fleming (Jeremy), Sam Clark (Heather), Michael Clark (KayDee), Katie Clark (Tyson) and her nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. in the Davis Creek 1st Ward Chapel, 825 S. 50 East, Farmington, Utah. A Viewing will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Mortuary 1941 North Main Street in Farmington, Utah, and Monday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at the Farmington Cemetery.
