Joan M. Aroune

Our mom has reunited with her lifetime love and husband of 50 years.
Beloved wife to Chuck (deceased), loving, caring and happy mother to Jeanne Kenney (deceased), Sandra (Mike) Schiszler, Marie Aroune Zamora, special grandma and great grandma to Dawn Mallory (CJ, Gage), Sonja Schiszler (deceased), Chris (Jillian, Ben, Lucy) Schiszler, Tony (Amanda, Kevlyne, Kayden) Childs and David Childs, sister to Delores DeMarti and her two cats Sadie and Princess.
Joan was happiest when surrounded by her family and she was proud to have been married to a U.S. Marine who served for 25 years. She was a very generous and caring woman to everyone whose lives she touched and she will be greatly and forever missed.
A special thanks to all of her doctors, nurses and caregivers who helped her through her battles. In lieu of flowers, Joan would have preferred donations to the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
At Mom’s request, there will be no funeral services. The family will be having a gathering to celebrate her life.
