On September 15, 2023, at the age of 52, Jill Ann Clark, wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and aunt left us unexpectedly. With her husband by her side, she was welcomed into Heaven and to be reunited with her father, John.
Jill was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (Lolli), daughter, aunt, and friend. Her passion for life was that no one went without, especially food. Jill was born to Loving parents on October 11, 1970, in a little hospital located in Driggs, ID to John and Patricia Hillman. She joined the family as the seventh child and grew up in Sugar City ID., (locals would say just off the Moody Rd). She attended Sugar-Salem High School where she ran track, played basketball & volleyball. She loved to be active and never standing still. After graduating High School in 1988, she entered beauty school in Idaho Falls, where it was the beginning of a life-long career, which was making people beautiful as well as a personal psychiatrist to most.
Soon after graduating beauty college, Jill moved to Logan, UT., to marry her high school sweetheart, Todd Clark on June 9, 1990, where it was 33 years ago and still going strong. They were Sealed together shortly after their marriage in the LDS Logan Temple for time and eternity. Jill and Todd started to raise their family during their time in Logan. Jill & Todd were blessed with initially 4 children, Taylor, Tanner, Kristen, and Hallie. And soon blessed with a 5th child, Avree after moving to Grantsville, UT.
Jill's love language was communicated in her cooking for anyone and everyone. You were never going to go hungry with her around. Jill's life reflected her values of hard work, family unity, service, and the eternal perspective. Once Jill caught the social media bug, she began watching TikTok's after work, which was a major relaxation for her after a hard day at work. She loved her iPad to watch many movies on (especially historical ones). This was major part of her evening after there was no family or activities over especially after the grandkids were gone home. Watching her grandkids play and swim in the pool was one of those activities that happened often. Some of her favorite adventures were to ride with Todd up to Park City and walk Main Street and eat in all the different types of restaurants to see what she could make herself and feed to all the family later. She loved to go on a Sunday ride to Pineview Reservoir and see where our cabin could be built, as well as to embrace nature and the serene views. She kind of loved huckleberry picking, but it was mostly to have huckleberries available for her famous huckleberry cheesecake, (making great deserts were a staple in her repertoire). She cut hair for most of her life and her clients will dearly miss her, mainly because Jill was one that made whoever she was with feel that they were the most important person in the world at that moment. Maui, HI., became her favorite vacation spot, so much so that she got a tattoo to always carry the sun and the waves with her where ever she goes. Jill was a lover of animals from the baby goats she had while growing up in Idaho to the many cats that were always around wherever we moved. She especially had a special bond with a few Siamese cats that are being reuniting with her in Heavan.
Already missing her is a loving husband, Todd Clark and their children Taylor (Jenni), Tanner (Morgan), Kristen (Conner) Fevaleaki, Hallie, and Avree; along with her mother Patricia Hillman; siblings Pam (Rex) Hibbert, Bruce (Terry), Randy (Janet), Blair (Gretchen), Keith (Shawna) and Holly (Darin) Bratsman. Her three grandchildren were the light of her life, Hazel, Wells and Draco.
The family is beyond grateful for the support that has come from all the surrounding friends, neighbors, ward members, extended family, and clients.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Centerville Stake Center, 270 North 300 East, Centerville, UT., with a viewing starting at 11:30AM-12:45PM as well as a viewing on Friday evening, September 22, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Bountiful, Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street Bountiful, UT. Graveside is at Memorial Lakeview Cemetery in Bountiful, UT., looking out across the valley, just the way she would have liked.
