Jeffrey Pringle Sappenfield

Jeffrey Pringle Sappenfield passed on to a greater tomorrow full of wonderful expectations on December 8, 2023. Born of goodly parents, reared in a safe, secure, and loving home.

Companion to Beverly Anne, a most cherished wife. Married for 65 years in complete happiness. Father of Shannon, Scott, Stacy, Joel, and Sara. Brother to JoAnn, Jerry, and Joel.

Grandfather to 18, and great grandfather to 27- all his favorites. Education, and a desire for knowledge, were important in his life and was a gift he hoped to instill in his family.

A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held many callings. The most important - to be a kind and loving support to his fellow saints. His desire to serve as needed, and his love of the Lord, were important in his life. His epitaph, “Finally, no more taxes!” represents his good-natured approach to business and life.  His monument is his children and his love for his wife.

Come celebrate his new beginning with us at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah where a viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday afternoon from 12:45-1:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment- Bountiful City Cemetery.

Services will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary & Crematory Facebook page and on this obituary page.  The live stream will begin about 10-15 minutes prior to the service and will be posted below.
