Jason Michael Warrant, 55, of Kaysville, Utah, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep Wednesday evening, November 19, 2025, at his residence. He was born April 4, 1970, in Bountiful, Utah, and was the beloved son of Diane and Verl Warrant.
Jason graduated from Woods Cross High School in 1988. His daughter Destiny became the center of his world when she was born in 1995. He was a dedicated father who loved Destiny deeply and went on to be an incredible “papa” to Destiny’s son, Jude.
Jason loved frozen caramel lattes, Mountain Dew, playing video games with his friends and was an avid watcher of the show “Cops.”
Jason, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by compassion and unwavering love for his daughter, Destiny and his dog Gizmo. He dedicated his time and energy to helping others and being there for his family and friends. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, neighbors and many more whose lives were touched by him.
Jason is survived by his loving parents, Diane and Verl, his brother Chad, his daughter Destiny and grandson, Jude.
Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful, Utah, with a viewing from 12:30-1:45 p.m. at the mortuary prior to services.
