Jason Joel

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Jason Joel, who passed away on June 23, 2026 at the age of 65. He lived a life full of passion and love for his loved ones, especially his grandchildren.

Born on June 19, 1961 in Mili, Marshall Islands, Jason was the beloved son of Jilang Jitiam and Bibe Bohanny. He was a loving father, proud grandfather, cherished brother, and loyal friend. His kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and talking to his family around the world. His greatest pride were his children and grandchildren, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories.

He is survived by his children Bella (Hanlace) Peter, Angellina (Michael) Roncarati, Harry (Emlanta) Joel, Larry (Maria) Joel and his grandchildren whom he loved so much- Ryan, Tyler, Kamille, Jase, JayBuaii, Oakley, Emry, Aoumakaii, Journi, Dayamaii, I’Ka and Kai; his siblings Jutar, Teikla, Willa, Tojeik, Kilang, Tiso, Boata, Atiko, Joel and Bohanny; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents Jilang Jitiam and Bibe Bohanny, siblings Jiti J.Kattil, Iso Jitiam, Osi Jitiam and his granddaughter Malayaii Joel.

To honor our father’s wishes, private viewing will be held on June 30, 2026, followed by a memorial and celebration of life.
