Janet Ileen Jackson

Janet I. Jackson passed away on August 15, 2026, in Murray, Utah, with her loving husband, John, by her side.

Janet was born on January 29, 1961, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Jerry and Joyce Crowther. She grew up in Salt Lake County, where she attended local schools.

In 1984, Janet met John Jackson at the home of John's brother, Gene. The two were married on May 18, 1985, beginning a life together filled with love, companionship, and adventure.

Janet worked as an administrative assistant in the automotive industry. Outside of work, she found great joy in the outdoors. She especially loved camping and riding dirt bikes with John, creating many cherished memories together.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Joyce Crowther; her daughter, Amber; and her stepson, Travis.

She is survived by her devoted husband, John; her son, Dustin; her nieces and nephews; and a host of dear friends who will remember her with love. Janet's life will be remembered for the love she shared, the friendships she treasured, and the adventures she enjoyed. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
