Jane Elisabeth Fillmore

Jane Elisabeth Fillmore passed away unexpectedly in her sleep early on June 2, 2026.

Jane was born on January 27, 2025 to loving parents, Jaxon Fillmore and Hanna Jean Fillmore. Jane came quickly into the world – so quickly that she spent her first few days in the NICU for oxygen therapy and monitoring. With this same impatience, she precociously raced through the following months, early to eat solid foods, early to crawl, early to stand, early to walk and early to talk. She was a gifted communicator and could easily and effectively get across her desires and intentions to any around her.

Jane’s first order of business each day was to get her beautiful blonde hair done into curls of ever-changing variety by her loving mom. After that she was busy all day every day fully living the second great commandment: loving and being loved by others. Her brightness of spirit allows no doubt that she was also committed to the first great commandment of loving her Heavenly Father and receiving his love in return. She is a mature, pure and wise spirit who left a too young body.

Jane was beloved of, and a near constant companion to, her older brother Griffin J.Fillmore. Jaxon, Hanna, Griff, everyone in the family, and others who knew her will miss her tremendously. But all of us are much the better for having her in our lives.
