Inga Goldie Brown

November 14, 1965 — November 19, 2021

Inga Goldie Brown was born in Salt Lake City on November 14, 1965, to Sigurd and Margot Sadowski. Inga passed away after battling metastatic breast cancer November 19, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Anyone who knew Inga knew she had a deep love for her family, her friends, and especially of her Savior. She was a shining example to everyone she met and exemplified her earthly calling as wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and disciple of Jesus Christ. She had great compassion and cared deeply for those she loved.
Inga possessed a bold and strong spirit and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind and always held to her convictions. She was exceptionally strong, but was also immensely compassionate and loving. She had a beautiful smile and you couldn’t help laugh with her when she did. Being a Sadowski meant she usually found humor in people inflicting negligent harm to themselves, mostly by watching her sister stumble down the stairs at the theatre, or running into a poorly placed glass door. She would laugh at these moments with tears running down her cheeks and her stomach aching from laughter. A unique and unusual trait that must be genetic as she shares it with most of her siblings.
Inga loved her time in the kitchen and always called it her happy place. She found satisfaction in serving others and often manifested it in the delicious meals she served her family. Meals brought the family together and her joy was to see her family together and enjoying time with one another. The fruit of her labor was knowing that her family was strong, connected, and could laugh with one another. She was a master chef and perfected many of the culinary arts from breads to pies, cookies to cheesecakes, to an assortment of delicious entrees. She always served quality food using the most nutritious ingredients. She would wake up early every morning to prepare homemade lunches for her kids so they could eat good quality food in school. This devotion lasted well into their high school years.
Inga was hardworking and self-motivated, a trait that she learned from her mother. She could accomplish tasks that would take two or three to do without breaking a sweat. She would wake up before the crack of dawn when her kids were little to begin her transcription work before they woke up for school. She found pride in keeping a clean and organized home. Every Saturday was dedicated to cleaning the whole house and finishing the yard work in preparation for Sunday. It was important to her to have a home where the Spirit could reside. These traits of hard work and dedication that she learned from her mother have been passed on to her children.
Inga was a fountain of knowledge, especially when it came to things that pertained to health and wellness. She had a gift to be able to memorize and retain information after only reading it once. Everyone was amazed by how much information she could retain and was more than willing to share it for the welfare of others. She was an intelligent woman and was passionate about not only health and cleanliness, but was a champion of the constitution and the freedoms provided by it. She had a strong sense of right and wrong and had a strong testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ. She knew her Savior and she raised her children to know him as well.
Inga also loved going to Lake Powell each year and considered it her little piece of heaven. It was the ultimate vacation in her eyes and was a place of peace and serenity for her and her family for more than twenty-five years.
Inga will be greatly missed by all those who knew her during her short time on this earth, however, we know there are many on the other side who were extremely excited to have her back again in their presence. We will always love you dear Inga and look forward to being back in your presence again some day.
Love you. Love you more! Love you most!!
