Harry Eugene Michaelis

Bountiful, Utah-Gene Michaelis passed away on August 18, 2018 at the age of 94 and is now reunited with his eternal sweetheart, Helen, the love of his life.

A dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he served for many years in the Salt Lake Temple, Logan Temple  and a temple mission to New Zealand.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Lena Michaelis, brother Lyle, wife Helen, daughter Ann Michaelis Rapich, and a granddaughter Mistee Ann Brallier.  He is survived by his children Terry (Becky), Kimberlee (Charlie), Clifford (Joyce), Kevin (Debbie), Kip (Wendy), Todd (Sandy), Deidre (Miles), son-in-law Steve Rapich, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and three bothers.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Honeyville Cemetery, Honeyville, Utah.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to a favorite charity.
