On the morning of August 14, 2025, Harold Ronald Bluemel “Ronnie” our beloved Husband, Father, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, Coach, Son, and Friend passed away surrounded by his loving family. Ronnie was 78 years old.
Ronnie was born on July 7, 1947, to Harold and Afton Carpenter Bluemel in Coalville, Utah. Ronnie married his favorite dancing partner Margo Matthews on November 20, 1965. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on August 8, 1969. They would be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this November.
Ronnie graduated from Ben Lomond High School and earned an Associate Degree from Weber State University. Ronnie was involved in the auto repair industry for most of his life. He first started out with his father at Bluemel Auto. Shortly after, his entrepreneurial mind sent him on a journey to open his own auto repair shop, Superior Specialists, that he successfully owned and operated for 25 years. He continued with his hard work ethic and partnered with a company and built a successful business with Melaleuca that touched and helped hundreds of families.
He loved coaching all three of his kids and continued with his grandson, Harrison. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for Harrison. He was a talented man with his hands. He could fix and build anything from scratch. Our dad was all sports and instilled the value of the “Bluemel” spirit in all of us. He loved to golf with his boys, bowling on leagues, camping with family & friends, and spending every Saturday night with his best friends Donna & Eddo Jensen going out to eat and playing cards.
Ronnie was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He held several callings throughout his life.
Ronnie is survived by wife Margo, his eternal companion of 59 years, their three children, Trent Bluemel, Jason (Joy) Bluemel, and Ashley Bluemel. He had three grandchildren, Terrick, Andrea, Harrison and his favorite pup Reggie. Ray Meibos (brother-in-law) and siblings Terry (Nancy) Bluemel, and Cindy (David) Howard. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Afton Bluemel and his sister Sherry June Meibos.
We would like to thank Atlas Hospice for their love and care, especially Ashley and Monica.
