Grady Dunn, 72, a resident of Layton, Utah died February 20, 2024 in a hospital here of natural causes. Grady was born in Rochester, New York to Grady Lee Dunn and Esther Pluma Blossom Dunn. He moved around the USA, Germany, and Venezuela as his father was in the Air Force. He was a beloved son, kind brother, wonderful husband and a good friend. He met and married his late wife Dorene Marie "Esper" Doyle in Dothan Alabama and lived happily till she passed away in 2019. No children.  He enjoyed learning, building, snorkeling, swimming, fishing, and boating, built himself a woodshop and made wood gifts: a dresser, a hutch, etc. Grady worked as a diesel mechanic, auto mechanic, and welder. He enjoyed kayaking, motorcycling, barbecueing, making aquaria, gardening, dogs, and cats.

Survived by his 2 sisters Linda (Utah, husband D. Gold), and Patricia (Alabama, widow), 3 sisters-in-law Darlene (Texas), Jenny (Alabama), Lora (Alabama), 1 aunt Doris Dunn, 1 uncle William Langley, 6 nieces, and 7 nephews. Predeceased by wife, parents, parents-in-law Leonard Doyle, Sr. and Lorinia Lominack Doyle McIntyre, brothers-in-law Leonard Doyle Jr., Greg Beasley, Tolly "Dusty" Lambert, and John Loveall; sister-in-law Sheila Nuñez; by nieces Jessica Gold and RaeAnn Williams, nephew Jared Gold; and a friend Benjamin T. Prieto, Jr.

Grady Dunn and his wife Dorene "Esper" Dunn will be buried in Layton, Utah at a later date.
