Gordon Lee Tyler, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on June 19, 2026, at the age of 90. He was born on September 3, 1935, and lived a life filled with love, passion, and memorable experiences.

Gordon is preceded in death by his father, Max G. Tyler; mother, Charolette Shaw; step-father, Clarence Shaw; and nephew, Jimmy Gatherum. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jacque Tyler; two sisters, Sandra (Jim) Gatherum and Mary (Dave) Josselyn; three children; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who enriched his life.

As the owner of GT Sales, Gordon dedicated himself to his work, earning respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike. His true passion, however, lay in car racing, particularly sprint car racing, a pursuit he enjoyed throughout his life and a source of great joy and excitement.

Gordon will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and the love he shared with family and friends. His legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A viewing will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, located at 295 N. Main St, Bountiful, Utah. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Lakeview Cemetery, located at 1640 E. Lakeview Drive in Bountiful.

Rest in peace, Gordon. You will be deeply missed.
