Geraldine Kilpatrick

Geraldine Pitt Kilpatrick, born on October 18, 1944, in Park City, Utah, passed away on August 7, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of Eileen and Darrell Pitt.

On June 23, 1975, she married Paul Kilpatrick, with whom she shared a devoted and loving partnership for 50 years. Together they raised two children: Bryan Kilpatrick of Bountiful, Utah, and Kimberly Ann Kilpatrick, also of Bountiful. Geri is survived by her husband, their children, their daughter in-law, Amy Henry, and three cherished grandchildren: Courtney Stockholm, Connor Kilpatrick, and Jackson Kilpatrick. Geri is also survived by her brother Harold G. Pitt and his wife Rosemary and their children: Jennifer Pitt and Alison Pitt.

A lifelong lover of literature, Geri inherited a deep appreciation for reading from her mother. She delighted in finishing one to two books a week and was always eager to discuss a great read. Her passion for learning and thoughtful conversation touched all who knew her.For 27 years, Miss Geri served as the dance office manager for the Virginia Tanner School of Dance and the Children's Dance Theatre (CDT) at the University of Utah. Her unwavering support of the arts spanned children's programs, the ballet, symphony, and opera-nurturing a vibrant cultural legacy for generations to come.

Kindhearted and generous, Geri was an extraordinary hostess and party planner. She especially cherished the holidays, transforming her home into a festive and welcoming haven for family and friends. Her generosity and steadfast support left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.

Her warmth radiated far and wide. Geri gave freely of her heart, her wisdom, and her steadfast support. The imprint she leaves behind is one of compassion, creativity, and quiet strength.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bountiful City Cemetery (2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah 84010).
