Gabriella “Gabi” Groitzsch passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, surrounded by love.
Gabi was born with Zellweger spectrum disorder, a rare genetic condition that brought medical challenges throughout her life. Yet she was never defined by a diagnosis or prognosis. To us, she was simply Gabriella—our daughter, our light, and our miracle.
From the moment she entered this world, Gabi was deeply cherished. She knew only love, comfort, and devotion, and she taught those around her about resilience, unconditional love, and the quiet strength found in the smallest soul.
We are profoundly grateful to our family, friends, medical teams, and community who loved Gabi and supported us every step of the way. Your compassion ensured that she was always surrounded by care and kindness.
Gabi is survived by her loving family and the many hearts she touched. A ceremony and mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026, at St. Olaf’s Catholic Church, 276 East 1700 South, Bountiful, Utah. Though her time was short, Gabi’s life was full, and she will be carried with us—always.
Any flowers ordered for Gabi can be sent to St. Olaf's Church.
