Evaluna "Alegria" Carrillo Molina

Goofball and professional Hype Woman, Evaluna’s love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. Evaluna “Alegria” Carrillo Molina passed away in the wee hours of October 25th, 2022, at the tender age of 24, surrounded by loved ones who will continue her legacy by being kind and loving to all people. 

Anyone else battling with mental health issues would have given up serving a proselytizing mission. But not Luna, she was too stubborn to give up. Wherever she went, she was like a ray of sunshine making you laugh with her funny voices or her awkward posturing. She knew how to love people for who they were and was the most supportive bestie you could ask for. 

She had a passionate love affair with Harry Styles. She was a total dog person but would not judge you for being a cat person. Evaluna left behind her mongrel baby Oreo. She is survived by her Mother Monica, Father Ulises, brothers Miguel, David, Joshua, and Samuel; her sisters-in-law Priscila, Sadie, and Emily; her cousin and best friend, Victoria, along with her beloved Vega family: tía Sonia, tío Milton, Andrea, Amy, and Mima. Evaluna is also survived by her dear best friends Cristina and Romina. Additionally, there are many other family members and friends including her family in Ecuador. They will all carry her in their hearts. "Always."

Her vigil will be at the LDS Chapel located at 1250 South Main St, Bountiful, Utah, 84010, on Saturday, October 29th, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The funeral services will commence at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful. Afterward, family and friends will gather back at the chapel, 1250 South Main St., Bountiful, Utah.
