Elvira T. Vuong

Elvira T. Vuong, age 64, passed away peacefully at her home in Bountiful, UT on Thursday March 25, 2021.

Elvira was born April 08, 1956, in Santa Clara Michoacan Mexico, to Jose Torres and Ofelia Sànchez.

She married Ha T. Vuong on July 26, 1994, in Farmington UT. Together they established their loving home in Bountiful, UT and have been residents of the community for over 20 years. Elvira loved her two children Jose Luis Fernando Islas and Shelby Vuong dearly and could always be seen laughing, hugging, and enjoying her time with them. Elvira worked for IHC in Woods Cross, as a laundry aid, for IHC in Woods Cross, UT, for over 19 years.  She displayed a strong dedication, performance and quality in both her work and personal life. Over the years, Elvira had many personal challenges, of which she never let become an obstacle in her dedication to serving others. Elvira truly lived her life to the fullest, always cherishing the simple moments with her family and friends.

A wonderful mother to her children and two dogs (Chancho and Chorizo), grandmother to her grandkids, spouse and life partner to her husband, sister to her siblings, aunt to her nieces and nephews, and friend to those around her. Elvira’s warm loving touch and smile will be missed; however, her impact and legacy will live on in the hearts of many.

Elvira is survived by her husband, Ha Vuong; children, Jose Luis, and Shelby; and other family members as well as friends who lives were touched by Elvira. She will be met in heaven by mother, Ofelia Sanchez; father, Jose Torres; siblings, Martin Torres, Antonio Sanchez Rodriguez, Jose Sanchez Rodriguez; niece, Yoselin Torres; and nephew, Pedro Torres.

Viewing services will be held on Monday March 29, 2021 from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.

Elvira T. Vuong, de 64 años, falleció pacíficamente en su casa en Bountiful, UT, el jueves 25 de marzo de 2021.

Elvira nació el 08 de abril de 1956 en Santa Clara Michoacán México, hija de José Torres y Ofelia Sànchez.

Se casó con Ha T. Vuong el 26 de julio de 1994 en Farmington UT. Juntos establecieron su hogar amoroso en Bountiful, UT y han sido residentes de la comunidad durante más de 20 años.

Elvira amaba mucho a sus dos hijos José Luis Fernando Islas y Shelby Vuong y siempre se podía ver riendo, abrazándose y disfrutando de su tiempo con ellos.

Elvira trabajó para IHC en Woods Cross, como ayuda de lavandería, para IHC en Woods Cross, UT, durante más de 19 años. Mostró una fuerte dedicación, rendimiento y calidad tanto en su vida laboral como personal.

A lo largo de los años, Elvira tuvo muchos desafíos personales, de los cuales nunca dejó convertirse en un obstáculo en su dedicación a servir a los demás.

Elvira realmente vivió su vida al máximo, siempre atesorando los momentos simples con su familia y amigos.

Una maravillosa madre para sus hijos y dos perros (Chancho y Chorizo), abuela de sus nietos, cónyuge y pareja de vida de su marido, hermana de sus hermanos, tía de sus sobrinas y sobrinos, y amiga de los que la rodean.

Se echará de menos la calidad amorosa y la sonrisa de Elvira; sin embargo, su impacto y legado vivirán en el corazón de muchos.

A Elvira le sobrevive su marido, Ha Vuong; hijos, José Luis, y Shelby; y otros miembros de la familia, así como amigos que viven fueron tocados por Elvira.

Será recibida en el cielo por su madre, Ofelia Sánchez; padre, José Torres; hermanos, Martín Torres, Antonio Sánchez Rodríguez, José Sánchez Rodríguez; sobrina, Yoselin Torres; y sobrino, Pedro Torres.
