Elinor Alice Iverson Schulkins

After a long and fulfilling life our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother returned home to her Heavenly Father on December 5, 2025.  she was born July 4, 1931 to Minnie and Nels Iverson.  She would have been 95 years old on her next birthday. 

She moined her husnad, Willinm Schulkins and all her siblings and many family members who passed on before.  She is reunited with her children Donald DeWoody, Stephen Schulkins, and Colleen Brocchini.  She is survived by her sons, Roger DeWoody, Larry Schulkins and his wife Cindy; her daughters Susan West and her husband Lee, Sharon White and her husband Steve, Debbie Sullins, Joyce Fults and her husband Bob, and daughter in law Chris Thompson.  These children brought into this world 25 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Elinor was a woman with a strong conviction who never waivered in her faith.  Her devotion and kindness touched everyone who knew her.  She will be remembered for the strength, love, and comfort she always offered to those close to her.  You always knew you were imporant to her.  She was more of a guiding light than a judge who always wanted the best for her family and to steer them in the right direction.  She survived many setbacks but kept moving forward in faith.

She had a love for good books until her sight began to fade at which she turned to audio books tha she enjoyed.  Her children will always remember her home cooked meals, especailly her firend chicken.  She loved to cook for her family in her earlier years and have them all around the dinner table.  We will miss her but also cherish the memories of the resilience and love that she showed us.
