Eileen Anderberg Venter

Eileen passed away peacefully at her home in Plain City, Utah on June 9, 2026 with her family at her side. She grew up in Bountiful, Utah where she enjoyed a wonderful childhood surrounded by loving family and friends. She graduated from Viewmont High School and attended Weber State College/University where she earned degrees in nursing and education. She later met and married the love of her life (Don) Lynn Venter. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple on January 14, 1972. After many years of waiting and hoping, they were finally thrilled to welcome their son Michael into their family in March of 1979.

Eileen spent nearly 25 years in the nursing profession, providing care and comfort, and blessing the lives of so many individuals in her community.

Eileen and Lynn loved to pass the summer months at their recreational property in Star Valley, Wyoming. In fact it became a gathering point for the entire family where many wonderful, lifelong memories were made.

She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved her family, her church family and neighbors, and she loved making new friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Don and Emma, and her beloved brother Karl.

She is survived by her husband Lynn, her son Michael, her sister Sharon (Robert) Elggren, her brother Kris (Sherie) Anderberg, and several nieces and nephews who regarded her as “Grandma.”

A viewing will be held from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Russon Mortuary (1941 N. Main Street, Farmington, Utah)

There will be a brief viewing prior to the funeral, Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 9:45 AM- 10:45 AM at the Plain City 7th Ward building, (2952 N. 4200 W., Plain City, Utah.)

Funeral Services will follow on Wednesday, June 17 at 11:00am, at the Plain City 7th Ward building, (2952 N. 4200 W., Plain City, Utah.)

Interment will follow at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah.
