Eddie Duane Marsing

Eddie Duane Marsing passed away on Friday June 28, 2024, at the age of 81, after a battle with cancer. He was born on September 26, 1942, in Price Utah, a son of Harva and Rebecca Marsing, both deceased. 

He was married to the love of his life, Norma Jean Davis in the Salt Lake Temple; they have just celebrated their 60th Anniversary in June. They settled in Centerville Utah where they raised their children, Tammie Barlow, Tracy Marsing & Marty Marsing. Eddie was an active member of the LDS Church, serving a British Mission, and held many callings in the church throughout his life, including the bishopric and spending many years working with all the youth growing up in these wards. He spent much of his retirement in the shop as an avid wood worker creating making beautiful gifts for family and friends. He has touched many lives and will be deeply missed by many friends and family that he has known throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife, one sister Donna Duncan, three children, six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers, three sisters and daughter in-law, Amy Marsing.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 13, 204 at 11:00 AM in the LDS Rolling Hills Chapel, 210 E 1825 N, Centerville, UT 84014. There is a viewing Friday night from 6-8 PM at Russon Mortuary, 1941 N Main, Farmington, UT 84025 and at the Chapel from 9:30 to 10:45 AM prior to services.A graveside dedication will be held at the Centerville Cemetery following the funeral at 1:00 PM.
