Edison "Eddie" Kimball

Our sweet Eddie, our boy, returned to his Heavenly Family Thursday, September 8, 2022, when his family was involved in a tragic accident.

Eddie came to our family as a miracle. For almost seven years, his light has been the joy our family needed. He quickly became his mom’s cuddle partner and buddy. Every day Eddie would hug her and say “Love you mom” only to be followed with the shout “Best. Mom. Ever!” He used his dad as a jungle gym and wrestling opponent with regularity and loved basketball, baseball, swimming and soccer.

Eddie’s true talent lies in his capacity to love. He is the glue in our home. He looked up so much to his big sister Ruby. They would frequently be heard giggling through the air vents deep into the night. At the same time, he protected and taught his little sister Lou how to be happy and make friends. In short, Eddie was all ours.

His light has spread farther than we know. He loved all the things we loved. He would gladly go with his mom to pick out a new plant and Eddie attended his first Utes football game with dad. He also couldn't wait to show you all his new discoveries and brought you into his amazing world. His constant positive nature invited everyone to be excited about everything new and good. You knew it because his smile went with him wherever he went.

To Eddie’s family, friends, teammates, teachers, coaches and anybody else who made Eddie's time on this earth an absolute joy, thank you.

Eddie is preceded in death by his oldest sister Lila. Mom (Kristi), Dad (Quinn), and sisters Ruby and Lou can't wait to be the Kimball six again. Thank you Eddie for coming to us. We promise to love like you. BEST. SON. EVER!

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the Holladay Stake Center, 4568 S. Holladay Blvd. E, Holladay, Utah. An evening viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2022, at the church, with another viewing Saturday morning from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. at the church prior to services.

Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah.

Services will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary & Crematory Facebook page and on this obituary page.  The live stream will begin about 10-15 minutes prior to the service and will be posted below.
