Earlene Rae Bagley McIntosh

July 17, 1935 — March 30, 2022

Earlene Rae Bagley McIntosh, loving wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away on March 30, 2022. Earlene was born July 17, 1935 to Earl and Alice Bagley in Idaho Falls, Idaho. In her younger years she helped with the potato harvests, aided her mother while her dad was in the war, and was Har-vest Ball Queen in High School.

Earlene went to Brigham Young University on a Drama scholarship. Before she could finish college, she fell in love and married James A. McIntosh on June 22, 1956 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple.

Earlene traveled with her husband while he completed his Army obligations. They ultimately landed in Salt Lake City, Utah where Earlene spent her life being an amazing mother. She stood true to her testimony in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and raised her family in truth and righteousness. Her legacy of faith and love has made her definitely one among elite women.

She was a peacemaker in all situations and avoided controversy. Earlene was a very elect lady. You only had to sit with her and visit and you would see the strength inside her. Her faith never faltered. She understood the Gospel and was able to pass on her love and kindness to her children and all those who knew her. She had the joy of watching all her children grow in truth.

Survived by her children, Richard (Teresa), Debbie Bradshaw (Dick), Bruce (Holly), Linda Soderberg (David), Sheri Petersen (Randall), Diane Porter (Greg), 19 grandchildren, and 38 great grandchildren. Earlene was preceded in death by her husband (James), her son-in-law Greg and her son Robert who lived only 2 days. She will now be blessed to reunite with them and watch her family grow on both sides of the veil.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Foothill 7th Ward, 2215 East Roosevelt Avenue, Salt Lake City, Utah where a viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Larkin Sunset Lawn.
