Donna J Frost

November 1, 1932 — September 7, 2022

Mom was born November 1, 1932 in Los Angeles, California, the youngest child of Elwyn D. Price and Barbara Brind Price. She passed away on September 7, 2022 in Farmington, Utah.
Mom and dad, Gene E. Frost, were married on October 31, 1948. Although mom was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was not raised in the church. Dad was not a member when they married. However, when the missionaries found them they recognized the truth and embraced the gospel.
Dad was called to be a labor missionary on the church college of Hawaii (BYU-HI) so they packed up and moved to Laie with four young children. Mom loved Hawaii and returned many times over the years. She was planning a trip to Maui up to the time of her passing.
Mom loved life. She was friendly, outgoing and loved a good time. In her younger years, mom was quite athletic and enjoyed water and snow skiing. Lake Powell was another favorite vacation spot.
Mom was a devoted member of the restored church. She served as President of the Primary, Young Women and Relief Society, and in other callings throughout her life. She was gifted with organizational and leadership talents. Mom was also strong-willed and determined. Both she and dad were amazingly hard workers.
Dad preceded mom in death after 47 years of marriage. She later married Kenneth Harris whose family lovingly welcomed mom. Ken also predeceased her.
Mom is survived by a large posterity of whom she was immensely proud: Richard (Lynnette) Frost, Ron (Susan) Frost, Janice Frost,  Joni (Steve) Matthews, Misty Frost and partner Dean. She has 18 grandchildren, 39 ½ great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. At mom’s request, there will be no viewing or funeral, just a small private graveside service.
Interment at Lakeview Memorial Estates, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, Utah.
