Donna Jean Wood Donohue

Our loving mother, grandmother, great-great grandmother, passed away March 20, 2023. Donna was born October 4, 1928, to John Howard Wood & Loretta Sparks.  She was one of nine children.

She married Garth Bullock, later, divorced. On June 25, 1982, she married the love of her life, Rex Donohue. Together they traveled the world, eventually buying property in Arizona and settling in Beaver Dam Littlefield.

Donna graduated from Davis high in 1948 excelling in academics and music. She was an active member of the daughters of the Utah Pioneers for more than 50 years.

She always looked fabulous. Donna had a passion for clothes, especially dressing in western attire, dancing, playing the piano, singing, enjoying sweets, cooking, especially baking bread, spending summers camping with family and most of all her children, grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Donna loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and faithfully served in many callings.

She is survived by children: Reid (Shawna) Bullock, Gregory (Beryle) Bullock, Connie (Ted) Cromer, Shauna Madsen, 26 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, brother Charles Dwight Wood and sister-in-law Mary Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex, parents, and siblings Evelyn, Marion, Phyllis, Barbara, John Howard Jr., Warren and Doug and many loving brother and sister in laws.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah. A viewing will be held from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. prior to the services.  Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
