Don was sealed to Lisa Michelle Greaves on June 15, 1996, in the Salt Lake City, Utah temple. They were married for 25 years and had 3 children. During this time, they lived in the Layton and Syracuse area.

Don had the biggest love for gardening and enjoyed sharing his fruits and vegetables with everyone. He was a great cook and was known by many for his delicious homemade chili and salsa. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being outdoors. He was an animal lover and always wanted to live on a farm.
