Diana Lee Paskett

Diana Lee Abbot Paskett, after 88 wonderful years, completed her earthly mission and returned to her heavenly home on July 7, 2026.

Born to Byron Lee and Wilma Lucile Abbot in Bakersfield, California, August 18, 1937. Diana was a cherished daughter and a beloved older sister. She spent many of her growing years in the beauty of North Lake Tahoe, California, where she formed lifelong memories with her younger sister, Jacquie.

Diana married Maurice Wayne Lemke and they made their home near Auburn, Washington, where Morrie introduced her to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Diana was baptized in 1956, a decision that shaped the rest of her life. Together they had four children. They were living in Rigby, Idaho, when they eventually divorced.

In 1971, Diana married Royce Wendell Hansen. They welcomed one child and shared 15 years together before parting ways.

A talented and creative soul, Diana studied Interior Design and operated her own Interior Design Studio. She later worked for 20 years as a book buyer at the Ricks College Bookstore, where she formed many treasured friendships and became a beloved part of the campus community.

In 1986, Diana married Willard (Bill) James Paskett. They shared many joyful years together until his passing in 2005.

Diana’s faith was the guiding light of her life. She served a full-time mission in Guatemala and later devoted many years to the Family History Library. Genealogy was her passion, and she generously shared her knowledge with countless others. She loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ deeply and often expressed eternal gratitude for the missionaries who patiently taught and baptized her.

She is survived by her four children: Mark Wayne Hansen (Regena), Tracy BethAnn Lowe (Edward D), Michael Scott Hansen, and David Royce Hansen; 10 grandchildren; 14

great-grandchildren, and her sister, Jacquie Sullivan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard James Paskett; her son, Scott Wayne Lemke; her parents, Byron Lee and Wilma Lucile Abbott; and a great-granddaughter, Tansy Skyler Seals.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the angel nurses of Ovation Hospice, the many staff and loving friends and residents of her community at Creekside Senior Living for their tender care, concern, and support to all of us during Diana's final days, to Russon Mortuary for their dedicated service, and to the Centerville Park Ward for their compassionate support.

A viewing will be held in her honor on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful, Utah, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. A second viewing will be held Monday, July 27, 2026, from 9:45–10:45 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Park Ward, 1135 North 400 West, Centerville, Utah. She will be laid to rest at the Bountiful City Cemetery following.
