Denise Cook Hale

Denise Mecham returned to her Heavenly Home early in July, 2025.

Denise entered this world a little early but she never let that early arrival slow her down. As she grew, her ability in athletics became apparent.

When she became a young woman she found her passion in architecture. After earning her degree in architecture, she went on to a fulfilling and successful career in the field that she loved.

Denise Hale was a trailblazer, entering the field of architecture when few women did and rising to become a partner in a leading firm, later continuing her career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Her professional drive was matched by her personal passions—singing, playing guitar, and enjoying sports, especially biking. She blossomed under the steady love and support of her parents, Hale and Virginia. 

Denise left us too soon and is deeply missed. She will be laid to rest beside her mother, as she wished.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah 84010, where a viewing will be held from 8:45-9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.

Services will be streamed live on Russon Mortuary Live Facebook page and this obituary page. The live stream will begin 10-15 minutes prior to services and will be posted below.
