Deborah Ann Tripp

November 9, 1955 — February 25, 2024

Deborah Ann Tripp passed away on Monday February 25, 2024 in Bountiful, Utah from complications after a long fight against a disease.  She was 68 years old.
Deborah is survived by her only child and loving son, Shaps Tripp, her mother Bonnie Clock, her sister Paula Kopp, and her sister Linda Jones.   She is predeceased by her father Walter Clock.
Deborah graduated High School from Viemont High School in 1974. She went to Dixie State University and the University of Utah.  Deborah married Vaughn Tripp and moved to Wendover, Utah, where they raised Shaps.  Deborah began her professional career in sales with Mountain Bell.  She soon after left Mountain Bell to further her career in sales with KSL.  Deborah found her niche and excelled in selling.  Her hard work, drive, and dedication allowed her to be recruited to work for Fox 13.  Deborah left KSL for the new opportunity with Fox.  At Fox she became the top marketing executive in the company, landing the biggest accounts such as RC Wiley, Coca Cola, and McDonalds.  Her success allowed her to take her son on amazing vacations and spoil him rotten on birthdays and Christmas'.
Deborah loved the outdoors and taking Shaps camping and fishing.  She enjoyed shopping and corrupted Shaps with this habit as well.  Deborah relished the finer things whether that was staying at a nice hotel or fine dining.  Deborah always had a dog and loved animals.  In her early adult years she rode horses and competed in equestrian events.  She adored all these but none of them compared to the love and passion that she had for her son, Shaps.  He was her whole world.  Deborah's emails and passwords to accounts all had Shaps in them in some way.  She was proud of him and would tell everyone she knew about what recent events were happening in his life.
Even at the end she was still showing her love to her son and wanting to go out to dinner.  She will be remembered for her affinity for pink lip stick, shopping, the outdoors, and of course the love she had for her son.
