DeAnna Janeece Stock

Janeece Taylor Stock, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, at St. Mark’s Hospital, relating to sudden complications with her heart.

Janeece was born on June 25, 1941, in Malad, Idaho, to Elmer Brown Taylor and Annie DePhane King. She was the oldest of three daughters and was raised alongside her sisters, Marlys Carter and Shaundel Taylor. She attended Malad High School and graduated in 1959.

Janeece was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and her faith was an important part of her life. While attending the University of Utah, she met the love of her life, F. Brent Stock. They were married on January 15, 1969, in the Salt Lake Temple.

Janeece and Brent built their home and raised their family in Bountiful, Utah. She was a loving and devoted mother to MeGarin, Brandon, Tiffany, and Tauna. Her family was the center of her world, and she found great joy in caring for and spending time with those she loved.

Janeece had a special love for gardening and took tremendous pride in her beautiful yard. Her hard work and dedication to her home were recognized when she received an award for having the “Best Looking Yard” in Bountiful. Her garden was a reflection of her - beautiful, carefully tended, and full of life. She also cherished her time as a member of the Jessamine Book Club, where she served in various roles and, over the years, developed lasting friendships that became an important part of her life.

After raising their family, Jannece and Brent enjoyed traveling and making memories together. Their travels took them to many wonderful places, including Hawaii, Mexico, Alaska, California, Germany, Italy, Austria, and the East Coast. She treasured the experiences and memories they created along the way.

One of Janecce’s greatest joys was being a Grammy. She adored her five grandchildren and their spouses—Brayden and Kohel Kellogg, Gabriel (Ashley) Stock, Setera (Chad Coleman), and Sadie (Alex Wall) - and loved watching them grow. She was also a proud new great-Grandmother to baby girl Vela Jae Coleman. Her grandchildren and great-granddaughter brought her immense happiness, and she cherished every moment she had with them.

Janeece is survived by her children, MeGarin (Rachel) Stock, Brandon (Treesa) Stock, and Tauna (Nate) Kellogg; her five grandchildren and their spouses; her great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Brown Taylor and Annie DePhane King; her sister, Shaundel Taylor; her beloved husband, F. Brent Stock; and her daughter, Tiffany.

Janeece will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her faith, her beautiful garden, her love of travel, and most of all, the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her family will miss her deeply and will forever treasure the memories and legacy she leaves behind.

Celebration of Life

A celebration of Janeece's life will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the Oak Hills Ward Chapel, located at 455 South 1200 East, Bountiful, Utah.A visitation will be held prior to the service from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the same location.

Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
