Deanna Couch Reed

Deanna Couch Reed of Clinton, Utah, passed away peacefully at Bel Aire Assisted Living in American Fork, Utah, on November 15, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

She was the middle child of Wilbur Dennison Couch; Elma Eliza Taylor. She was born in Ogden, raised in Provo, and lived in Clinton for the past 48 years.

Deanna married the love of her life, Howard Reed, Jan 23, 1956 In Provo, Utah. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, on Nov 16, 1959. They spent 64 years devoted to each other.

Deanna loved 49ers Football, Joe Namath, Steve Young, Neil Diamond, Santa and Christmas, family parties, and doing service for others. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her loudest whistle could call everyone home.

Deanna is survived by her children: Scott (Kendra) Reed, Stacee (Bill) Pitt, Chris (Beth) Reed, 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Deanna is also survived by brother W. Dennis Couch and sister Darla Freeman.

She is preceded in death by her husband Howard, and her parents.

 A viewing will be held Friday, Nov 24, from 9:00am-9:45am. With memorial service to follow 10:00am at Russon Brothers Mortuary 1585 West 300 South, Syracuse, Utah.
