David Robert Brammer

June 24, 1983 — February 26, 2026

David Robert Brammer, beloved uncle, son, brother, and friend, passed away in his sleep during the early morning hours of February 26, 2026, due to heart failure. David was born in Bountiful, Utah, on June 24, 1983. He lived his first three years in Springville, Utah. People always commented on his beautiful blue eyes and his bright smile. He began making friends at an early age and never stopped throughout his life.

David’s family relocated to Centerville, Utah, in the summer of 1986. On his first day in Centerville, he went outside, found three new friends, and gave them a tour of his new home. David quickly made friends with the other children his age, and these friends stayed close for his entire life. He was always outside playing games or going from house to house to see where the best place was to hang out. David loved sports. He played basketball, soccer, skiing, golf, and baseball. Baseball is where he excelled. He was selected to all-star teams for five straight seasons.

David attended Centerville Elementary and Centerville Junior High School. He then attended Viewmont High School, where he graduated in 2001. Later that year, he attended Dixie State College for a semester. In 2002, he was called to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Everett, Washington Mission. Due to health issues, he was honorably released from his mission after one month of service. Even though his time on his mission was short, he had an impact on people. Ten years later, a family came to see him at his home to tell him that when he had visited them in Everett, it was his testimony that played a major part in their conversion. David attended school at Utah Valley University and Salt Lake City Community College. He worked several jobs over the years in Utah and abroad and, for the past several years, worked as an Experience Ambassador for the Smith Entertainment Group.

Wherever David went, he collected friends. Few people could ever love and care about others as much as David. He suffered terrible tragedies during his last 20 years. He lost numerous close friends to early and untimely deaths. This devastated him. David would admit he had his fair share of challenges over the years; however, he was a near-perfect uncle, brother, and friend. He always talked and bragged about his friends, their families and their successes in life. He always defended them. He was a devoted brother and uncle to his family. His nieces and nephews adored him and always wanted to be near him. His love for family and friends never wavered. He called or texted friends and family continually to make sure they were okay. He constantly wanted to tell everyone about a new song, movie, podcast, or TV show that he thought they would like or to talk about sports.

David is survived by his parents, Robert and Paula Brammer; brother Craig (Heather) Brammer; and sister Katie (Brad) Ivie, along with five nieces and three nephews. He liked to stay in touch with his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. His absence will be felt strongly for years to come by all who knew him. In honor of David, he would love you to take time and call a friend.
