Daron Devon Hammer

Daron Devon Hammer peacefully passed away at home on March 27, 2024.  Born to Keith Hammer and Vonda Taylor on August 25, 1966. Daron was known for his positive attitude, generous spirit, infectious love for the outdoors, and the joy he brought to family and friends through his legendary cooking skills. 

 Professionally, Daron was a respected Master Mechanic for the city of Bountiful, Utah. Outside of work Daron was enthralled with anything that had to do with the outdoors. He loved boating, fishing, hiking, traveling, scuba diving, riding horses, going on cattle drives, and camping in the Uinta Mountains with his family. 

 The thing he loved most though was his beautiful wife Chelsea Michelle Chiles. They were married on May 17, 2014, and were married 10 wonderful years. Some of his fondest memories with his wife were getting to visit the Grand Tetons, Glacier, Yellowstone, Jamaica, China, and Hawaii together. 

 He left behind a large and loving family including his two sons Bryce Hammer, Colton Hammer, and nephew Juliyn Hammer. Siblings Sheldon Hammer (Donna), Ron Hammer, Russ Hammer (Bonnie), Allen Hammer (Angela); As well as several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

 In his honor there will be a celebration of life at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Meetinghouse, 585 E. Center St., Bountiful, Utah, on Saturday, April 6^th, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. where a dinner will be provided, and guests are encouraged to share their fondest memories of Daron. This is a very casual event the way Daron would have wanted. Just good company, good food and sharing quality time together. Daron will be deeply missed by all.
