Darin Rick Williams

On December 27, 2022, Darin Rick Williams, beloved husband, father, son, and brother passed away unexpectedly due to pre-existing health issues.

Darin was born April 10, 1979, to Rick and Beth Ann Williams in Ogden, Utah. He grew up in Ogden, graduating from Weber High School in 1997, where he also served as a student body officer. Following graduation, he served faithfully as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Indianapolis Indiana Mission. He was a faithful and devoted member, who loved his Father in Heaven, spending his life in the service of others.

Darin met the love of his life, Katie Gines and they were later married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 15, 2003. Darin and Katie are the proud parents of Mykelle, Gage, Brinley, and Ashlyn. Darin’s proudest and greatest moments in life were being a husband and father. His wife and children were his most treasured possessions. Darin loved his family, genealogy, woodworking, fishing, golfing, the outdoors, and serving others.

Darin leaves behind his loving wife, Katie and his 4 children, parents Rick and Beth Ann Williams, Sister Becky (Bryan) Arrington, brothers Brandon (Megan) and Brian, and loving in-laws, nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends. We will miss his contagious laugh and lighthearted spirit.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Orchard 10th Ward building, 3317 S. 800 W., Bountiful, Utah. A viewing will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Russon Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, Utah, from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday morning at the church prior to services from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Burial will be in Bountiful City Cemetery.

Services will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary & Crematory Facebook page and on this obituary page.  The live stream will begin about 10-15 minutes prior to the service and will be posted below.
