Born on January 6, 1979, in Fullerton, California, Darby (Darwin) Larry Cuvelier Jr. came to enlighten the lives of his goodly parents, Darwin and Deborah Cuvelier.
From the moment he arrived he wanted to see and experience all the great things this beautiful world had to offer. From the time he could hold a bat in his hands, baseball became the joy of his life. Coached by Darwin and followed and supported by Debby, he enjoyed and participated in all sports, but baseball was always his favorite.
In the sixth grade, Darby and his family, now having grown to a bustling group of four energetic brothers with Clint, Curtis, and Dan, packed up and moved to Utah where Darby left his mark, excelling in everything he touched. He focused on hunting ducks, fishing, sports, taking care of his family and serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1998, he began his honorably served mission in the Oregon, Portland Mission.
Soon after his return from his Mission, he met the love of his life, Sarah Louise Hall, and they married in the in the Bountiful Utah Temple on August 10, 2000, for Time and All Eternity. It wasn't long before they had four amazing children of their own, Jackson,
Ellie, Ivy, and Jonah. Darby embraced all his children, and his love and devotion to his family became the hallmark of his life, throughout many tribulations.
It was such a surprise when Heavenly Father called him home on July 5, 2025, but he is now serving his Lord and Savior along side his sweet Ellie who preceded him in a Heavenly reunion in 2004.
Darby is survived by his dearly beloved Sarah, his children Jackson, Ivy, and Jonah, his ever devoted parents, Darwin and Debby, and his brothers Curtis and his wife Misty, Clint and his wife Trisha, and Dan and his wife Erica.
We love you and miss you Darb and are forever grateful for our family associations and look forward to our happy reunions in the times to come.
