Daniel Landon Wall

Our beloved Daniel Landon Wall, 28, of Ogden, UT, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, due to surgical complications. He left this world surrounded by close family and friends.

Daniel was born September 26, 1994, bringing a new light and energy into the family of George and Ann Wall. As a boy growing up in Bountiful, he loved Legos and Star Wars, superheroes, trading card games and above all else, fishing trips with his dad George. As Daniel grew, his interests expanded to drawing, cooking, music and tattooing. As a self-taught tattoo artist, Daniel designed and gave countless tattoos to friends (and to himself!) over the years. He had just started college to study Psychology and was delighted that he finished his first semester by making the Dean’s List for his excellent grades.

Above all else, Daniel was defined by his big, generous heart and his gift for making fast friends. Daniel had a broad definition of family and extended it to many. Any person feeling downtrodden found in Daniel a gentle and caring friend. His grand and unmatched personality endeared him to those from all walks of life. Daniel’s room-shaking laugh (that he inherited from his mother Ann) and his ear-to-ear grin will be forever remembered and missed by all who knew him. 

Daniel was deeply adored by his wife Lydia during the two years they were together. He was known to be a friend to anyone in need and he'll always be remembered for his big, bright blue eyes, kind smile, healing hugs, a singing voice that could move mountains, and an ability to make anyone smile or laugh. His wife will remember him dearly for their times cooking together, singing musicals, talking for hours, cuddling, and for the unconditional love that he showed her each and every day. 

Daniel is predeceased by his father George, mother Ann, and sister Olivia. Left behind are his loving wife and best friend Lydia, sisters Nicole Sanders  (James) and Vanessa Welch (Josh), and seven adoring nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service in Daniel’s honor will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 351 Lofty Lane in North Salt Lake, Utah. A viewing and family visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023, at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful, Utah.
