Listen to Obituary

Cynthia Gail Coffey Williams slipped away peacefully into the arms of her Savior on August 13, 2026 at the Chancellor Gardens. Cindy was born on May 13, 1942. Shortly after her birth she was adopted by Jesse and Leota Coffey and raised wonderfully as an only child. Cindy provided a comfortable and loving home for her mother in her later years until her Mom passed.

Cindy devoted her career to education. She earned a degree and worked for many years at Stevens Henager College. She enjoyed working with students and helping them achieve their career goals.

Cindy married Michael Shore and had three sons, Patrick, Jeff and Danny. She later married Everett “Bill“ Williams and they welcomed their son Cary to their family. They moved from California to Farmington, Utah in 1994, and as her son Patrick often said, that she picked the best neighborhood all those years ago. In 1997, they adopted their daughter Loredana.

Bill and Cindy were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple. They loved to travel and saw many wonderful places in the world. She also was a voracious reader as evidenced by the many books in her home. Cindy held many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Among her favorite was serving as Relief Society Chorister in the 20th/Northridge Ward. She also enjoyed serving on the Compassionate Service Committee and helping where she was needed. Cindy had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 27 in Farmington and she enjoyed the friends she made there. She lost her beloved Bill in 2015, and she continued on bravely managing her home and small business. Patrick made his home with his Mom after she was widowed and was a great help to her. He has continued to take care of the details of her care and passing and Cindy often expressed her love for him. Even in her last days, Cindy loved to sing. Cindy also spoke of being reunited with her parents and Bill. Cindy loved to do crafts and sew lovely things. She especially loved decorating for the holidays.

She will be missed by her four sons, Jeff Shore, Patrick Shore, Danny Shore and Cary Williams, her daughter, Loredana, and a granddaughter, Fiona Cynthia Shore. Her Farmington Lands End neighborhood that she was a part of for over 32 years will miss her dearly. She was “Grandma Cindy” to many of the children and took a special interest in them.

Graveside services will be held on August 26 at the Veterans Cemetery in Herriman, Utah at 10 am.
