Curtis John Flamm

May 20, 1992 — July 3, 2024

Curtis John Flamm passed away on July 3, 2024 at age 32. He was born in Rexburg, Idaho on May 20, 1992 to Daryl and Denise Flamm. He joined Russell, Brent, Carrie and Jason to complete our family. He attended Knowlton Elementary, Farmington Jr. High, graduated from Viewmont High School and continued his education at the Vista Education Campus. His favorite subjects in school were; math, reading and music. Throughout his school career Curtis had many wonderful educators, peer tutors, and friends. Other accomplishments he achieved were, earning his Eagle Scout award and serving a mission at Cove Fort with his parents. He loved helping give tours and keeping the grounds in tip top shape. He was a decorated Special Olympics athlete in golf, bowling, basketball and track.

Curtis loved to celebrate and he was an excellent cheerleader in all parts of life. Whether it was making a putt at the golf course, or scoring big in Farkle he would express his approval with a vigorous “thumbs up”. He loved to play dice, card and board games. He was especially good at Ticket to Ride, Mahjong and Cover Your Assets. One of his favorite games was the one he would setup every Halloween. The neighborhood kids loved to come trick-or-treating to play his dice game and win a treat; Curtis would celebrate no matter what prize was won.

Curtis always enjoyed watching videos. It could be a Disney classic like Cars (which he had memorized and would watch in multiple languages), YouTube videos of trains, bowling and even NASCAR races. He also liked making videos of himself that he would later watch and laugh at. When he wasn’t watching movies, he was often found playing with any toys that would light up and/or make noise; but very few things were better than popping a roll of bubble wrap. Some of his other favorite activities included; listening to music, dancing, bowling, looking at Christmas lights, fireworks, golf, trains, and fast cars.

Curtis is survived by his mother, Denise, siblings Russell (Tamara), Brent (Krystal), Carrie (Brad), Jason as well as 10 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father J. Daryl Flamm, and grandparents Russel and Ann Flamm and Don and Evelyn Borup.

The Flamm family expresses their appreciation and gratitude to Lupe, Lima, Wendy and Jeff for their loving care this past year. We thank all those that allowed Curtis to be part of their lives including the countless individuals at school, church and in our community.

We will miss his joy, enthusiasm, and the pure love he brought into our lives.
