Cort Beckman

May 27, 1978 — March 4, 2026

Cort Beckman, a devoted husband, father, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Born in Bountiful, Utah, to Jerry and Vicki Beckman on May 27, 1978, Cort grew up with a natural athletic talent and a fierce determination that defined his life.

From an early age, Cort excelled in sports—he was a standout in baseball, but he was good at everything he set his mind to. Life took him beyond Utah to California, where he developed a lifelong, yet often disappointing, love for the Los Angeles Angels. Though his high school years had their challenges, Cort turned things around with remarkable grit, earning his MBA. Early on, he balanced full-time work during the day with night classes, always putting family first and showing what true dedication looks like.

Cort was wise beyond his years, a man who loved hard and pushed everyone around him to be their absolute best. He knew music like no one else. Every artist, every song, every story behind the notes and his encyclopedic knowledge brought joy and connection to countless conversations. He was the kind of dad who could quote lyrics, coach a game, or offer life advice that stuck with you forever. He was the hardest working man in the room, yet somehow had time for everyone.

Cort found his passion in healthcare staffing, spending over 20 years in the industry, and recently co-founding the company, Royal Surgical Associates, with the perfect partners that valued Cort and his vision. He was so proud of its success and the future it was providing for his family that he loved. Because, above all, Cort was a family man. He spent lots of time traveling and creating memories with them. He is survived by his loving wife, Angela, his children Isaac, Jayda, Violet, Hank, and Louie, along with his parents, Jerry and Vicki Beckman, siblings Troy (Miranda) Beckman, Nicole (John) Guerra and many extended family and friends who were blessed by his presence. He is preceded in death by his brother, Derek Beckman.

Cort’s legacy lives on in the lives he shaped, the love he gave freely, and the example he set of perseverance, passion, and unconditional support. He will be deeply missed, but forever remembered as the one who believed in us when we needed it most.

The family invites you to attend a Celebration of Life ceremony on behalf of Cort on Sunday, March 15th, at 4pm MST at The Ranch at Blue Sky in the Arena Building just outside of Park City, UT. (Address: 27649 Old Lincoln Highway, Wanship, UT 84017).
