Connie Roush, an incredibly strong and loving women, passed away on February 26, 2026. She was born on May 30, 1941, to Ernest and Jesse Roush in Salt Lake City, UT.
She married the love of her life, U Jay Roush, at the age of 17. During their 65 years together, they raised 7 children: Jeffrey Roush, Kevin Roush, Debbie Bennett, Jaylynn Secrist, Steven Roush, Heidi Roush, and Stephanie Burke.
They had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her grandson Mylo Sanders was her constant companion and caretaker, and she lovingly referred to him as her best friend. He always made sure she had a smile on her face.
Connie lived a full and happy life. She loved horses, soap operas, Diet Coke, and chocolate. She was the toughest woman who always gave everything she had and was the best mother her children could have asked for.
Connie was proceeded in death by her husband, U Jay Roush, sons Jeffrey Roush and Kevin Roush, and her daughter Debra Bennett.
She is survived by her daughters Jaylynn Secrist, Heidi Roush, Stephanie Burke, and son Steven Roush.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the West Bountiful 2nd Ward, 840 North 800 West, West Bountiful, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah, and Thursday morning from 9:45-10:45 at the church prior to the service.
