Cheryl Taylor Huffman

Cheryl Taylor Huffman passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 59 in Ogden, Utah. Born on June 28, 1965. Cheyla was a cherished mother, grandmother and sister, known for her resilience and unwavering spirit.

Cheryl attended Ogden High and spent many years as a bartender and bar manager, primarily at the Eagles Lodge and American Legion. Her career was marked by her friendly demeanor and the ability to make anyone feel welcome.

Beyond her professional life, Cheryl was a lover of the outdoors. She found joy in camping, fishing and simply being outside. Cooking and BBQs with her family were cherished activities, often turning into memorable gatherings. Above all, creating new memories with her children and grandchildren was what she valued most.

She is survived by her four children, Jayson, Jacob, Byran and Joni Huffman; and her grandchildren, Cheyley, Jaydon, Ryder, Braxton, Brooke, Brayden, Hunter, Makaela and Kaden. Her brother, Larry Taylor also survives her.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her significant other, Eric Hawkins, her sister Cheri Seamons; her mother Gaylene Seamons; her father Royce Seamons and her daughter -in -law, Kami Huffman.

Cheryl’s life was a testament to strength and love, leaving a legacy of courage and family devotion that will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.

Her family and friends will miss her deeply, remembering her as the strongest and most beautiful person, who never gave up despite the challenges she faced.
